Financial

Pension Scheme

As an employee of Staploe Education Trust you are automatically enrolled into membership of either the Teachers' Pension Scheme; or for associate staff, the Local Government Pension Scheme.  As well as employee's paying contributions into the scheme (banded, based on earnings level) Staploe Education Trust also pays into the scheme on your behalf (regardless of earnings):

Teachers' Pension Scheme

Staploe Education Trust contributes an additional 23.68% of your salary.

Associate Staff Pension Scheme

LGPS - Staploe Education Trust contributes a minimum of 16.2% of your salary.

Pay

We provide automatic service-related pay progression for most grades and an annual cost-of-living salary increase in line with national recommendations.

 

Holidays & Family Friendly Working

Holiday Entitlement

Term time only contracted staff are entitled to all of the school holidays.

Full time contracted associate staff will start with 23 days holiday entitlement per year plus bank holidays.  This then increases to 28 days after 5 years continuous service, 29 days after 10 years continuous service and 30 days after 15 years continuous service (pro rata for part time employees).  

Maternity/Paternity Scheme

We offer a generous maternity and paternity scheme to all our staff.  

Computers & Software

Employees can download Office 365 ProPlus at no cost on up to 15 personal devices, which is available through the Trust's ICT Support Department.   The package includes Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Publisher and Outlook.  Eligible employees also have access to OneDrive for Business through the arrangement, providing them with one terabyte of online storage for their personal files on the Microsoft cloud.

Staff have the opportunity to purchase re-conditioned PC's at a reduced cost.  These are available as and when upgrades take place across the Trust and can be purchased through the ICT Support department.

Staff Development

The Trust and each school are committed to your development.  We have regular cross-trust training sessions as well as opportunities for professional development through bursary and CPD programmes.

When you start in your role you will be supported by a tailored induction process. Staff are supported by regular performance management meetings and appraisals.

We have on-site catering available to all staff.

Flu Vaccinations

The Trust provides the opportunity for all staff to receive a free flu vaccination each year. 

Employee Assistance Programme 

The Trust’s staff have access to our Trust Employee Assistance Programme (EAP).  It is an invaluable resource for every individual working in our Trust. The service promotes emotional wellbeing and enhances personal effectiveness.

The EAP will provide staff with many contacts, resources, guidance and services to assist on a range of subjects and areas towards your wellbeing.  These include some of the following:
